Nailer Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 With the middle of our lake still open water yesterday, I thought the ice would never come. well, that filled in last night and reinforced the shore ice. With 2-3" of solid ice near shore, I ventured out this afternoon. Between neighbor John and myself, we ended with two limits of nice enough gills. Biggest was 8.5", with plenty of his younger cousins. Fiska jigs with spikes and mousies.
