MY2SONS Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 Just wanted to see what everyone has on there wish list for next season for there boats, or fishing setups:grin:. What new toys/equipment are you adding to your fishing arsenal?
Rayman96 Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 At this point, wish list only! Two Islander MR2 mooching reel setups. The price is shocking! Not likely to happen! New fishfinder with side scan. Pricey:eek:, but more likely to happen.
1mainiac Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 Autopilot probably still out of reach if I want any money to put gas in the boat but still high on the list.
ALLEYES Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 A downtroll would be nice......... And autostops for my Big Jons.......and, and, and, and, and......
fishsniffer Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 gas:grin:but im sure i could come up with something:grin:
JWheeler Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 I would love to put on a chartplotter w/cartography. Have new fishfinder. Going to put a 9.9 kicker on in the spring, would kick @$$ to put on hydraulic trim/tilt to that, along with an auto pilot. 3 new Rods / Reels and that should just about cover it. By the time I'm done gettin the boat the way I like her, it will be time for a new one. THen the madness can start all over again.
Adam Bomb Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 Am adding copper to the boat. Have tons of lead core, but i need some copper. All fall ive been one ebayin' mofo! Got some great deals on NIB penn and shimano reels...Got a tekota 700 for $79 booyah!!! Will be adding some DW Paddles in the off season as well.
Boltman Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 Defintely a Fishfinder with through hull transducer.... Looking at an Autopilot but wow are they expensive....
mattmishler Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 Looking at an Autopilot but wow are they expensive.... ill work for free ill be there when the coffee pot is on
Adam Bomb Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 ill work for free ill be there when the coffee pot is on  Very nice pitch Matt!!!
Adam Bomb Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 Damn your still up Steve. I thought i was the only night troller around here.
Treblemaker Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 A quad set adjustable tree A new probe Some new short core and copper reels, and we need to find a new tournament scale. Any recommendations on a good 30# scale?
Paulywood Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 I'm putting on an autopilot and a speed-n-temp probe. Maybe a copper rod or 2.
Treblemaker Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 I also have a 2 season old Depth Raider available in case someone is looking for one under $300 pm me.
Nailer Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 This is what I want for the Walleye boat. Troll over a break line, record it into this GPS unit, and have the ability to keep trolling the same line, without touching the motor again. .
ALLEYES Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 Ken if you get that there will be no walleye left for the rest of us .
Phishy Posted December 18, 2009 Posted December 18, 2009 couple rod holder for my downriggers, the ones on my old set up are not working for me, they are weathered plastic, I tried 'em for a short spell and didn't like the sound commin from 'em, kinda like a creaking sound which i imagined a splash shortly after and ....
Priority1 Posted December 18, 2009 Posted December 18, 2009 A quad set adjustable tree A new probe Some new short core and copper reels, and we need to find a new tournament scale. Any recommendations on a good 30# scale? One season and you will wonder how you ever got by without the trees.
Priority1 Posted December 18, 2009 Posted December 18, 2009 I picked up a couple of Big Jon Multi Set rod holders, that will go on my out and down swivel bases. My out and down riggers will be taken off when walleye fishing. I may come into the new millennium and get a new GPS with a GLs chip. I have been using a LMS 350 Lowrance Combo unit. It never fails me, so it will remain on my dash. Us dinosaurs like to hang on to the past, but slowly crawl into the future. I just put a new distributor and coil on the Priority1. I may put on a Fish carburetor. Now how about that for a fishing boat. Whatever it takes to gitter done, old or new.
mattmishler Posted December 18, 2009 Posted December 18, 2009 new tekota 500 for 12lbs rod, the new DW paddles with a few flys and maybe just maybe the x4 probe.
GLF Posted December 18, 2009 Posted December 18, 2009 I would like to add an autopilot for the boat. Not sure if it will happen or not.
Just Hook'n Posted December 18, 2009 Posted December 18, 2009 (edited) I would like to add a few more tackle storage boxes like this one: Nice to store things out of the way and clean. And perhaps 150 copper setups. Edited December 18, 2009 by Nailer Added image
Tad Pole Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 I want the new fish hawk x4 probe and a auto pilot!! and some copper and some new multi set rod holders and a new hard top and a new net and some new moonshine spoons and................ok maybe i haven't been that good
Priority1 Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 i haven't been that good That's what she said. You'll just have to do better, and maybe next year Santa will smile on you.
