Cazniks Inland Fishing Report (Gun Lake)

Hello Members and Guest,

Thought Id call up a buddy from work Sunday to see if he like to go out fishing on Gun Lake for crappies. This has been a long time since I had fished Gun Lake and man is it hard to figure out where the deep part of the lake is without a fish finder. Well after finding where it was deep we started trolling for crappies with pink and yellow tube jigs. First place we fished around was near party island and caught a few nice crappies there. Then later on we went to Robins Bay and caught some crappies there but was smaller than around party island. We started fishing at 5pm and stoped fishing at 8:30pm with 8 nice size crappies. Monday morning Sarah C called me up and we went back over there fishing for more crappies near Party Island and Robins Bay. We ended up with around 15 pretty nice size crappies that day trolling with pink and yellow tube jigs. If you ever go fishing at Gun Lake you better fish early in the morning because of all the jet skiers and racing boats out there cutting you off all the time.
