DIRTY DOG Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 what a great day for the end of november in michigan. And with that said i got ahold of my brother and nephew , he is home on leave from the navy for thanksgiveing .well when ever he gets back i try to get him out fishing with me, atleast once and with out the old DIRTY DOG around any more we desided to do some blue gill fishing.(my other favorite) we ended up with 55 nice gills from 7.5 to about 9 inches.(we probly cought close to 100) we fished from 11 am till around 3 in 20 to 40 fow drifting slowly with ice jigs and wax worms. most of the fish where around 15 to 20 feet down, we also found nicer fish suspended around most any mid lake hump. now it looks like a fish fry before he head back to georgia next tuseday.
Fishwhisperer Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 Great job on the gills! Maybe I should be chasing those instead of the brown?
