Walleye Express Posted November 18, 2009 Posted November 18, 2009 Took this post off another board. It comes from the owner of Salmar Resort in Gladstone on November 14th. Seems them boys are having a great fall season like ours on Saginaw Bay. Guest Nick Dood and his buddies had a great evening yesterday on the bay. They landed 24 total having to release 4 fish that were over the slot limit. Best crank by far was the blue/silver Rattling Rogue. All the fish were caught between Gladstone and the head of the bay. Great job guys!!! Don't forget to sign the guest book on our new website ( www.sallmarresort.net ) to be eligible to win one of five free 3 night lodging give-aways. I moved the drawing date to December 16th though for folks who need to put in for next years vacation time at the end of this year...
Nailer Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 To many places to go an not enough time to do it.We made a fall trip there last year, but did not have that kind of luck.
Adam Bomb Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 Nice haul, they absolutely slammed em. Awesome quality as well. I went up there a couple years ago for some of those trophy fish, but we came up epmty handed. Seems our timing was terrible as they did real well the week prior and the few days we were there were quite poor. Talking to many locals we got that shoulda been here yesterday...Just my luck...It was a balmy -11 with -35 windchills as well. From the woods of a famous tea commercial..."Now thats BRISK!"
