GLF Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 After seeing the weather forecast for this weekend, and seeing the forecast for last night, I decided to get off work 2 hours early and get the last trip of the year in. NOAA was calling for 10-20mph winds out of the East with 1-3' waves. When we got up to the boat the flags were sticking straight out from a strong South West wind. We new it was not going to be 1-3' waves for us. We hit the pier heads and motored out in the 2-4/5' waves to 95FOW and set lines. It wasnt long after we were set up and we were hooked up with our first fish. This was a nice steelhead. It came on a full core with a Stingray sized Corys Bait. Here is a video of Roy catching the steelhead. tUefTsf-v3Y About dark, we picked up 3 more fish to end the night. One was on a Stingray sized NBK on a rigger parked at 55'. Another one on the full core with the Stingray sized Corys Bait. One on a 6 color core with a Stingray sized GLF. We ended up 4 for 4. We had to keep the shaker because it was hooked to deep. Greg(Moosky31) was a little hungry and could not wait to put some mustard sauce on it. Thanks for coming along Greg and Roy!
SUPERTRAMP Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 Way to end the season Mike. I knew Gregg could handle the net.
