fishsniffer
went fishing aboard tangled mess with some guys from a couple of web sites ..some of you guys may know capt.don and this may not surprise you...but i myself have never fished like this before...there were times we were up to 5 mph...we went 9 for 13 on steelhead some close to 14 pounds...the even crazier part for me was we were catching them on these little mini silver streak lures ..you couldnt keep these down...superscrew,u of m froggie, mixed veggie, blue dolphin, orange chilly willie these among others i cant remember(maybe some of the other guys that went will chime in)i gaurantee you i will go a little more broke this winter stocking up on these bad boys.. thanks to capt.don and bill for a good time..nice fishing with jarod(j1musser)again also.i would also like to say this was the first boat ive been on where i got to drive, set lines, fight fish and drop lures in the water (sorry don)here is a pic of some of the bigger ones..also we never went deeper than 90fow
JWheeler
SWEET!!! I tried last weekend out of Pentwater and only managed 4, 2 steel & 2 small kings. Was thinking to myself today that the weather this weekend would have been a lot better to fish. Thanks for the report....!

Hollandpiper
We went out of Holland today and could only manage 1/1. The waves were 1 - 2 feet out of the south with a strong current ~SE. We did not hear of any other boats w/ more than one and it was tough to work a decent troll. Another, "we should have been there yesterday" day)~:Alex

j1musser
Many thanks to Capt Don as a great time was had by all!! Got my biggest steelie ever and my buddy came along who had never caught a steelie before. His arm was a littl sore by the end of the day:grin: Never fished like that in my life. Had fun bustin chops with the boys on a great morning. Finished last beer on way into docks. Doesnt get any better than that:lol: Great time guys. I may have too venture up to the mighty musk to meet up with Fishsniffer 1 and 2 next year. This was a great way to end my season!
