News Posted October 8, 2009 Share Posted October 8, 2009 Legislation sponsored by Sen. Patty Birkholz, R-Saugatuck, would promote cranberry farms in Michigan by streamlining wetlands rules. It would also ask state environmental and agricultural experts to identify up to 5,000 acres of land suitable for growing the tart berries.More...
