Pappy1600 Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 Just wanted to say hello from Greene County NY, We usually make many trips up north to Oswego for Steel head. Did our first trip to The Oak last year and was a great success. We have a trip planned for 5 days this November back up to the Oak and will be trying our luck at 18 mile creek for the first time also. Any information for the area would be grateful. I am in Law Enforcement and recently blew my knee out and currently awaiting surgery was wondering if the access at 18 mile creek and Burt dam is readily accessible to a old dog with a busted up leg? I fished Oak Orchard Creek the first week of August 2009. It was my first trip and not my last. The fishing is incredible. I have not fished the river it will be interesting to hear how well you do.Welcome aboard.Tom
