New to site.....

I stumbled on this site while troubleshooting my Canon Speed and Temp. What a great resource! Kudos to the administrators. Anyway, I currently live in Grand Blanc, MI and fish smallmouth in Lake St Clair, largemouth wherever I can and risk my job and marriage every year to fish Salmon out of Manistee. I am originally from Alabama, so qualify as a hillbilly in the great lakes I guess! Also spent 12 years in the navy.

I look forward to reading everyone elses experiences and hopefully pick up some new tips and techniques. Also look forward to adding my 2 cents where it may apply.

Welcome aboard Chuck! I can handle a bass rod just as good, or better than most people. I fished bass tournaments all over Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio for 9 years. I also spent 4 years in the navy as an aviation electronics technician.

You will have to head on down to the Southern end of Lake Michigan in the Spring and take advantage of the tremdous Spring fishery around the beginning of April.
