Took the family down to the lake to see the waves tonight. Of coarse there were idiots trying to walk out on the pier. The pictures don't capture everything but the force of nature is amazing.

I met a gal thats on one of those boats doing a creel trawl survey right now. Up by the ice pac. Loves hunting and fishing...Too bad she lives in Oregon.

I was down there around the same time. Seen the rollers, in the channel, cresting the wall at the parking lot.

Before I took pics on the north beach I was taking picture on the south side on those rocks by the parking lot. Needless to say one of those big rollers came in my work shoes and dockers were wet up to my knees:mad: Atleast I got some great shots.

I would have loved to see the waves hitting the lighthouse that evening, that would have been pretty intense!!
