Kings Around Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Looks like Kings Around II is heading for the pole barn for a long winters nap , but at least we ended up on a good note Friday Night. Had a charter with a Father and his 8 year old son who had never fished for anything before Friday. We got set up at around 4:45 in 130 FOW and headed NW. Took our first fish (steelhead) around 4:55 74 feet down on the rigger on a Lemon Ice Glow Nailer (43). I was hoping that this was a sign the fishing was going to be good, and it surely was. Continued west out to 315 and proceed to loop between 250 and 300 to finish up 10 for 14 at around 7:30 for their Limit. Most fish came outside of 250. We had 5 steelhead, 3 kings, 2 coho. Here is what worked: 1 hit on Flat line 100 ft behind board with Nailer Dalmation Plug 3 hits on Lemon Ice Glow Nailer 74 down on rigger 1 hit on 3 color with Orange Ice Glow (41) 1 hit on 5 color with Easter Egg Glow (48) 3 hits on 7 color with purple/black prototype 2 hits on 300 copper with Mashed Bananna (11) 1 hit on big white paddle with Lil Boy Blue Horsefly 2 hits on 225 copper with Greenberry Glow (18) Beautiful night on the Water....Now its time to go kill some deer
