SUPERTRAMP Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 (edited) Well not a great weekend finished Sunday with 1 short Laker and 3 missed strikes, weather was nasty. Left pierheads @ 7:20 and ran to 85 FOW Started a west troll and marked very little in the way of fish all morning. Finally boated a short Laker on Power Pro Dipsey out 240' White Dodger and Horsefly. 2 other hits, 1 came off behind the boat small king on Tequila Sunrise Fishlander. The other no Idea it released the rigger and was gone. I was using rubber band releases and doubled due to the rough weather. Early it was 1 to 2' when we quit it was rolling 4 to 6 and capping came in and it was washing out the pierheads. Saturday We fished in calm seas and had some luck. ended up 5 for 9 3 kings 1 short laker and 1 5# steelhead forgot the camera Saturday but have pics of the new boat that I got today after we got it out of the water. Will be winterizing tomorrow and storing for the season. The boat is a 23' John Allmand Hardtop Cuddy. Gonna try to get the pics uploaded in the Galleries. New name will follow for the boat.
