Akron's drinking-water reservoirs are free of deadly algae. Tests done by the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency showed no signs of microcystis or the algal toxins in the 645-acre Lake Rockwell or from the plant's intake or treated finished water, said EPA staffer Paul Anderson.
