mjj Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 Well I fished Grand Haven again this weekend, fishing in 50-80 fow near the piers. Marked some fish and ended up 0 for 1 this time. Saw a number of boats trolling in the channel and in shallower waters. My wife was much happier as the waves were calmer compared to last Saturday. It was a nice evening on the lake. I'm still new to "big lake" fishing so I appreciate all who post every week so I can sort of know what to do out there. Hopefully I can get out at least one more time. Thanks again everyone and good luck the rest of the season.
GLF Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 Thanks for the report Mike. You will get them next time.
Nailer Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 Mike, good luck if you go again. If you can make it out next spring during the middle of May things will be better.
Adam Bomb Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 Thanks for the report Mike. Keep pluggin away out there, you'll get em next time.
Boltman Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 Thanks for the report and take it from me you will catch'em next time, but it takes awhile, these guys on this board are fantastic to talk with and get advice from, If it weren't for Mike I think someone would have found two new big jon riggers and 6 rods and reels somewhere in Elk rapids in about 60 feet of water, but he gave me great advice and I remained patient... and I caught some good Salmon...........it does get better
tmiderek Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 Thanks for the report. It is hard to ever get any reports out of Grand Haven. Good work and keep them coming. Going out Thursday night and Friday morning in GH. Will let U know.
