celluloidheros Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 Hello, I have seen many people permanently attach their "Clipper Releases' to the planar board lines, they use a metal insert that goes through the middle hex hole in the release (the clipper end is not used). I'm wondering if anyone knows what is used for the metal insert ? Its sort of cone shaped. The reason for the insert is to prevent the planar board line from cutting through the releases. Thanks again, DC you can see a Clipper Release here http://www.amishoutfitters.com/images/photos/Product/release.jpgSomeone with a little injection molding experience could really improve on the clipper release, just get rid of the clipper portion, make it round and make the center a smooth metal ring that does not wear.
