what happened to the dog?

im thinking it is a shift spring , or a gear in the top part of the lower unit , but with out haveing it apart im not for sure ,other than i was running along on the way out and it wound way up and quit moveing.

You may have spun a hub in your prob from hauling those heavy coolers in this year.......You don't need to get lines wet to catch fish on Terrys boat they fly in like Asian carp in the Illinois river. Hats off to Phil for the rescue!!

the dirty dog would have limited out in that tow in if he put lines in the water. he just has the old guy smell that fish love i think

Terry that is a electric shift OMC drive might just be a electrical connection. If you want to update it to a newer drive let me know I think I have all the parts.

thats kinda what im hopeing for, i just gota have time to look into it , kinda hard to find time with all the over time this time of year, and also thanks for the offer on the upgrade , i may get in touch about that.:)

That is a bummer terry. but atleast you have had a bunch of great trips this year. I had this same thing happen on my Coloso boat and it ended up being the hub on the prop spun out. Hope its an inexpensive repair.
