plumkrazy Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 well just so everyome dosn't think i am pickin on my good friend terry , but i was at home yesterday afternoon when the phone rrang and it was the good ole dirty dog . he ask what i was doing as he was dead in the water out of sagutck in 45 ft of water an wonder if i could come an help him out and as all good friends should me and adam jump in the truck and head to help him out and heres just a pic of the dog been pulled in .... hey terry i was sure glad that it broke on the way out AND NOT AFTER DARK AND IN 200 FT OF WATER AND WAS GLAD THAT I COULD COME AND HELP :D:D:D:D AND THAT PIC IS NOT THE WAY I LIKE TO SEE THE DOG

DIRTY DOG Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 what happened to the dog?im thinking it is a shift spring , or a gear in the top part of the lower unit , but with out haveing it apart im not for sure ,other than i was running along on the way out and it wound way up and quit moveing.

silver one Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 That is a bummer terry. but atleast you have had a bunch of great trips this year. I had this same thing happen on my Coloso boat and it ended up being the hub on the prop spun out. Hope its an inexpensive repair.
