water_ratz
Went out Saturday morning and headed south of the nets in 130FOW. Set lines. Landed one 10# laker and one 2.5# coho. Lost another monster that straightened out the snap swivel. Went Sunday night and trolled north to 220FOW. Stayed right there between 220 and 275. went 4 for 4. (2) 10# and (2) 5.5# kings. Went Monday night and attempted to get back to the North 220 FOW location from the night before but rough water kept us from getting there. Waves were 5-5' with whitecaps on top. After an hour of POUNDING, I went down to set lines in 130FOW only to find both downrigger weights had snapped off during the run out. Switch out electric riggers for manual, back into fishing. Ended up 0 for 1. Had one monster hit a bloody nose fly off a dipset set 150 back. Apparently drag was set too tight and he broke the 50# leader.
