Jose Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 Got setup around 6pm out in 250fow lookin for the steelies everyone has been catching. Trolled for an hour and a half without a bump so we started to work our way back towards the pier heads. When we hit 180fow had a release on an old orange northport nailer spoon and boated our a 6lb steelhead. Worked into 160fow got a double on the only two downriggers we were running and my mom boated her first steelhead ever and the biggest one of the night at 8.5lbs. Then picked another up around 145fow. All in all went 4-4 all steelhead. LOTS of boats still out as we headed in around 9pm. All the fish gave us a show with lots of jumps and some tailwalkin!
NO MO BEGGEN Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 nice job those steelies are some good looking fish this time of year
