caznik Posted June 24, 2006 Posted June 24, 2006 Hello Members, It was a very nice day on the lake at Port Sheldon this morning, with wave running 1' or less. The bad thing about today was that rdfishin, my neighbor friend, and me Caznik didn't even get a hit or a release. We started fishing at 5:30am and started in 80 foot of water then just starting trolling west. The surf temp was 65 deg. in 80 foot of water and when we got at 200 feet the surface tep droped to 60 deg. We herd that some guys was getting fish at 80 foot of water so we pulled lines and went back in to 80'. We fished in the 80 feet till 10:30am and stopped fishing with no hits there either. If anyone gos tomarrow I would give it a try in 80 feet of water and go half way up to Grand Haven. I herd of a few guys getting fish between Port Sheldon and Grand Haven fishing 40-80 foot down with there riggers. Lures that I herd was hot was Dble. Orange crush, bloody nose, and green and glow fish catcher with the mirage fly. Well hope you all have a great weekend and good luck fishing. Good luck, Caznik
