Got my boat fixed fiinaly,and i will be at ludington friday after noon,saturday and sunday morning. anybody else? call JOEL CH.68 it would be cool to hear from ya all!:D

I totally understand... the big ones are out there, but the little ones taste better, less toxins...yeah know. Joel many happy fishings for you in Ludington...this weekend.

Hope you get some time on the water today. It looks like a wasted trip to Ludington for me this weekend. I need to get some work done on the boat done so I'll be there. We have had a ton of bad weather weekends this season.

The forecast makes me want to puke:

TODAY

SOUTHEAST WINDS 5 TO 10 KT. CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND

THUNDERSTORMS. WAVES 1 FT OR LESS.

TONIGHT

SOUTH WINDS AROUND 10 KT VEERING TO NORTHWEST 10 TO 20

KT. SHOWERS LIKELY. WAVES 1 TO 3 FT.

SATURDAY

NORTHWEST WINDS 15 TO 25 KT BECOMING NORTH TO 30 KT.

SHOWERS LIKELY. WAVES 5 TO 8 FT.

SATURDAY NIGHT

NORTH WINDS TO 30 KT. CHANCE OF SHOWERS. WAVES

5 TO 8 FT.

SUNDAY

NORTH WINDS TO 30 KT DIMINISHING TO 10 TO 20 KT. CHANCE

OF SHOWERS. WAVES 4 TO 7 FT SUBSIDING TO 3 TO 6 FT IN THE

AFTERNOON.

on our way in a couple.darn weather. hopefully on the water by noon at least a little fishin will be better than none. my wife is looking forward to just get away so we will have a good time any how!,thanks

Good luck Joel. The weatherman has been wrong a time or two. Last night was 1' or less but i was in a little rougher than that. Have fun!

Guys I can't emphasize enough to be safe out there. We have had numerous calls to foundering/capsized boats, boats on the rocks, struggling swimmers etc. etc. this year in Manistee. And in one terrible incident a fatality. You just never know.

8 foot waves are huge even in a solid boat, and nothing to be taken lightly. I've been in them and WOW! A couple fish aren't worth it. I'm not trying to say don't go fishing, everyone here is an adult and will make up their own mind, but throw on a PFD at least. Yup, they look stupid, but your survival odds after going in the water go way, way up if your wearing one.

Just my 2 pennies, and please be safe out there.

I have a feeling, most of the fishing this weekend will be limited to harbor patrol.
