A-Fishy-Anado
Finally got my boat back and had a chance to get out sunday and wouldn't you know it.....we break the gap between summer isl and point detour and are greeted by some friendly 5-7' rollers and rain so heavy that we couldn't see 20' in front of the boat. After about an hour of this we were finally FISHING:grin: We decided to head north with the waves into 110-120 FOW 61 degree surface and 57 degrees all the way to the bottom and never found anything cooler all day with those south blows piling all of lake michigans surface water right into our grounds. Lost one right away on a meat rig 70 down that almost spooled me and then ran into shaker heaven with 3 between 2-3 lbs on at once boated all of them off of the riggers and even kept the little guys as they were bleeding, on stinger size twister, nitro nbk and hell fire 30-45' down. Next we had a 6 lb steelie take another meat rig off the rigger at 40' down. Then another 7 lb steelie on a nitro nbk at 30' down on the rigger. Next to go was the wire diver, 6 lb king, pulling a stinger wonder bread e chip and an old stinger wonder bread fly. Finally 3 in a row off of the same full core pulling an orange pro troll and monkey puke meat rig. Biggest was 14lb and smallest was 7 lbs. Thought that was a pretty slow day for this time of year until we got back to port and there were alot of 1s, 2s, 3s and a bunch of zeros!

The boats we have fished lately did not have a probe or an auto pilot and those are two priceless pieces of equipment on my boat.
