News Posted August 10, 2009 Share Posted August 10, 2009 Heavy-hitters in the environmental field will gather in Milwaukee today. They're galvanizing, to persuade the U.S. Senate to allocate $400 million additional dollars in 2010 to improve the health of the Great Lakes and their tributaries. That's in addition to the regular annual allocation. The House and President Obama have already okayed the extra spending.
