ALLEYES Posted August 7, 2009 Posted August 7, 2009 Got out about 6-6:30. Set lines in 170 fow. Didn't do anything until I switched over to Moonshines about 7:15. At 7:30 all heck broke loose, and I never got to sit back down again until 10:00. Everything on the boat went at one time or another. Happee Meal and V-Neck were the standouts for the night. #1 Dipsey on a 3 setting 200' and 225' Mag Dipsey on a 1.5 setting 100' and 125' Riggers set 75' to 125' Seemed to have several knockoffs, must be some Coho aroound too. Three times it was a battle to get the rods out of the holders cause of the size of the kings. Had some bad Ju-Ju on the horses as they were pulling so hard I had a hook straighten, a spoon folded up and a swivel straightened. Ended up 5 for 17 in 150 to 165 fow. Also hit some bad current that swept my port dipsey across the back and took out 4 other rods. That happened twice. All in all a great night on the water. Good luck to all this weekend !
Just Hook'n Posted August 7, 2009 Posted August 7, 2009 way to go Steve. 17 hits. That will keep you jumping around.
