hourlate
Set lines at about 7:00pm with a crew of a 17 year old rookie, my 5 year old son, and TinyJon (my brother in law). Set down in about 75fow and had a 12lb king on the rigger set at 70 with an 11" white paddle and fly in about 15 minutes. Didn't even have half of my lines set yet. Best troll was south and west between 85-105 fow. Went 5 for 7 (the 2 we lost were being handled by the rookie and the 5 year old so lack of experience may have had a role). Took an 18+ lb king on a rigger set at 65 with a blue dolphin spoon. It destroyed my spoon. Seriously, it was almost bent in half and was flattened out. All in all a great night on the lake. Setups that caught fish: blue dolphin spinDr and blue colored fly (sorry I am not sure of the names) set 220 back with dipsey on 2.5. this took 3 hits and 2 fish (12lb king, 8 lb coho) blue dolphin spoon on rigger set 65 deep took 1 king (18+lb king) White paddle and fly 70-75 down on rigger took 3 hits and 2 fish (2 10lb kings) http://www.greatlakesfisherman.com/gallery/files/1/4/5/8/dsc00392.jpg' alt='dsc00392.jpg'> Edited August 7, 2009 by hourlate inserting photos
