We also fished Muskegon Friday. Tried the skinny water in the am with out much luck, only going 1 for 2 with it being a nice king off the wire diver/spinner/fly back 70'. The full core took a nice rip and zipped off 100 feet of line before coming undone. The boat was way low on gas, so we had to run in early. Gassed back up an decided it was such a nice day we should fish more.

This time we went out to 200 fow and re set up. Found a nice temp break 55-65 feet down. At about Noon the Full core with a magnum Confusion takes a nice fat Laker. Soon after the Copper with a kevorkian takes a second laker. As my cousin was fighting the second laker, the wire diver starts ripping line (200' back), landed that nice king. We had to run back in to Fisherman's Landing to meet some friends around 4 pm. After having a few hot dogs and helping them get set up, we went back out for the night bite.

This time we set up in 200 feet again. Ended the night with 2 more nice kings, both on the wire diver back 140'. Same rig took another hit that didn't hook up. We ended the marathon day going 6 for 8, all the kings where in the 13-15 pound range.

By far our best setup was the wire mag diver with a Wonderbread flasher and the Siggs Riggs Blue Dolphin Fly. shown here from a different trip.

"Meet some friends" that is funny. Great job out there Ken. Nice talking to you on the water. I see you got the picture in time for the siggs rigs contest. We didn't take any shots (darn it), but most of our fishes were on flasher fly combos.
