still a little slow out of saugatuck but the big boys are here.

i left the dock around 5:30 with a freind from work and his 2 sons. we set up in 70 fow and went s.w. ,and did not take a fish till nearly 7:15 and ended

the day at 11:30 going 7 for 7.

the catch consisted of 1 steelhead around 8 lbs, 2 under sized lakers that where released and 4 nice kings , 1 at 19 lbs and 11 oz and another at 20 lbs and 1 oz

here is a list of set ups that worked today

  1. nuclear veggies sting ray on a 5 color
  2. reg. sized nbk stinger as a slider at 45
  3. mag silver streak supper scew on a 10 color
  4. and a green dolphin protroll and mistery siggs rig fly 225 out on a hi diver

only have 1 pic and the boys did not want in it so here it is

Nice job Terry, nice size fish. It's been awhile since we've boated a 20#er! Maybe tomorrow. Expect to try the perch first and then the silver fish. I know that is kind of backwards from what we should do, but, the rest of the crew would really like to get into some good size perch. Been doing OK on the perch in SH, but they sure don't qualify as anywhere near jumbos. More like 8-10" with an occasional 11"er. We'll see if we can find some out of Saugatuck.

the boards are 2 x 10, not sure of the actual width.

OK....Roughly 30" then. That one looks like its hanging over both sides by 3 or 4 inches. WOW!

yup most of the head and all of the tail.
