Jose Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 Got lines set at around 6am, had a release about 15 mins after setting up but no one was home. Trolled around 35-65fow for the next 2 hours. Had another release and hooked into a 5lb 10oz Lake Trout on a bloody nose spoon 40 down in 45fow. Lots of work today for only one fish but it was a beautiful day out on the water. Pulled the lines around 11am after not marking any fish for quite some time. Talked to DNR at the launch when we got back and they were doing a fishing poll I guess and asked us some questions. The most anybody had this morning was 3 kings and a steelie. Most having just one fish.
Priority1 Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 Tough conditions and at least you didn't get skunked. GJ:)

GLF Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 Nice job Andrew. The fishing can only get better from here.
Nailer Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 When that big pod of fish hits Muskegon, limits will abound.
