Just Hook'n Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 Sorry for the late report. Was no where near a computer this weekend. Friday morning we set out at 6ish and fished until 11 or so. Water was colder in close (100fow was 54 up 44 down 45). Water out in 150 was 60 up 48 down. Picked up 2 nice steelhead in 95-105fow at 7. Thought we were on to something. Nothing the rest of the trip. Went out with a friend on his boat Sunday morning. Water had warmed up, but man was it FLAT. We started in 80fow or so and worked out to 220 before we called it off. Picked up one laker which we released. On the way back in the steelhead were picking flies off the surface between 50-60fow. Oh well. It was beautiful day on the water. Suinny, flat and the flies were not too terrible.
A-Fishy-Anado Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 MarkSounds better than a sharp stick in the eye...we also picked up a couple of those nasty grease balls and the weather was great up here as well.
Adam Bomb Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 Fish didnt cooperate, but at least you were on the water...and thats half the battle. Thanks for the report.
