caznik Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 Well today is fathers day, so what did all the dads get for fathers day this year. I happen to get a Gandermountain fishing hat and two T- shirts from gandermountain. Later on for lunch both my daughters Cazzie and Nikkie are going to fix me lunch. Later on I am also going to see my dad and I happen to get him one of those 5 led cap lights for fishing and hunting.Happy fathers day,Caznik
GLF Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 Happy Fathers Day! What did I get? It was not what I wanted. I wanted this. But ended up with this. I think I can get a couple of riggers and rod holders mounted on it...but I am not sure of how sea worthy it is. Plus....there is only room for one I think my wife is trying to tell me something.
GLF Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 youre lucky she did not get one of these for ya. Yikes It takes me two hours to mow with the tractor. It would take me two weeks to mow with that
ratcityhooker Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 Have had my 3204 cadet all shaft drive for three seasons now and they kick b__t. Also still have the old 147 hydrostatic cadet with a quad blade and electic lift for snow plowing. I cut my mowing time down by a third. Less time mowing and more time fishing.
muskybob Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 My girlfriend gave me a 24-rod display rack, 3 spoons I've been wanting, and a center colsole caddy for my truck. I love that girl.
Priority1 Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 I got a couple of clear Plano boxes, 4 Shakespeare line counters to add to some Diawa Eagle Claw combos (old rods and reels). I spent a little time tying up a dozen crawler harnesses. It looks like it's going to be too rough to fish tomorrow so I'll do a few things to my boat.:Chernobyl:
DIRTY DOG Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 got to go fishing againthis is what i wanted to the t
The Dog House Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 I had the opportunity to take my boy out on the water.First time it's just been the 2 of us....Should have seen his face when I got up after backing out of the dock and said, "Here ya go, stay clear of the sail boats and keep your eyes open" and then walked to the back of the boat...Once we cleared the pierhead, I looked at him and asked why we were going so slow?....... He just grinned and let her rip....Once we got to where we were going it took about 10 minutes of 2-2.5 mph to set him to chummimg....Rod ripped off a rigger, he brought it in and then asked if it was ok to go back.He said "I wanted to wait until we had one in the box"Hmmmm......... When did he grow up so much....To make a long story short.... 70 FOW, 35 down, MJ 15' off the ball. 9# king.Total time on the water less than 2 hours, but it was the best trip for me by a long shot!
