inreeltrouble Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 well the in reel trouble is down, the heat exchanger is leaking and losing all engine coolant out the exhaust,. called a few places yesterday and for used and no warranty 350.00 and new would be 700.00 if it's the one they still make otherwise it's discontinued:angry2:. anyone know of a good repair shop or more wallet friendly used boat parts store????
fishsniffer2 Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 That’s a bummer Doug. I hope the repairs go well and do not put a big dent in your wallet
A-Fishy-Anado Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 I feel your pain. I am down as well....nothing painless about trying to get rig mobile when she is down$$$$ best of luck!
inreeltrouble Posted June 26, 2009 Author Posted June 26, 2009 well i brought it in to work ( gotta love gov. jobs at work!). and found that there is only one tube inside that is bad. they are only 1/8" tubes and there are roughly 50 of them so i am thinking that a little solder on both ends of the bad tube to seal it off i might be back in business atleast for now...
fishsniffer Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 sweet you should be good to go for the weekend;)
Priority1 Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 I'm glad you will be able to fix it. If not, maybe a radiator repair shop could.
