Captjimtc
After seeing a huge temp break on Coastwatch we decided to try an offshore trip. We setup lines 12 miles due west of the lighthouse and the temp surface dropped from 58 degrees to 43 degrees and the surface was dead calm flat. We ran into the steelies hot and heavy. First rip was on a 2 color Pro King #92. A nice 5 lb chromer. Next up was a orange and black dotted bomber that caught a nice 8lber. For the next 2 hours it was fast and furious top water action and we ended up limiting out a total of 17.1 miles west of the lighthouse. The biggest weighed in a 13.4 lbs. We never fished any deeper than 25 fow. A great day on the pond...

Just Hook'n
If I knew I could do that, 17 miles is worth the drive. I probably trolled 17 miles in 145fow and only got 1 last time out. Thanks for the information. Great job slammin the fish.
