trax tech

I'm looking at purchasing some traxtech tracks. Are traxtech the only rod holders that will work in these tracks or will something like berts, big jon, or tite lok work as well??? Thanks

I know the Trax-tech and Berts are interchangeable.

all the trak systems are the same that i have seen,big jons dont work unless you make a plate to fit in the trak,unless they started to make them recently.now that i have traks on my boat would not go any other way

I talked to John W at Big Jon and they do stock all of their rod holders with a track plate that will fit trax-tech and berts track. Just give John a call and tell him what you need (231) 275-1010

Looking around does anyone know if the big jon pedastel bases work with the track system or do they need any modification or additional mounting hardware. I was eyeing up those set of doubles at lordoftheriggers.

The peds will mount to a track plate. It is the same recessed screw attachment as it is with the regular plates. Big jon will get you set with anything you need.....these guys are extremely helpful and they will have the stuff out to you in no time at all. You will love the duals i have a set on each side.
