News Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 The Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians, along with the 11 other federally recognized Indian tribes in Michigan, are working with the state to combat global warming. On June 11, Gov. Jennifer Granholm and the leaders of each Michigan tribe signed an intergovernmental accord stating their commitment to reducing greenhouse gases.More...
