DIRTY DOG Posted June 13, 2009 Posted June 13, 2009 SLOOOW day on the dog , but still nice to be back out on the water after a 2 week break. we (fishwhisperer, myselfand a the son of a freind at work) left the dock around 5:45 and went n.w. to 100 fow and set up on a south troll we went 5 for 6 by 9:30 with 4 lakers and and i shaker king that was released. then we went looking for perch , we found a school in about 65 fow in the north hole but the bite was verry slow ,we end that at around 1:30 with 15 perch and a bunch of gobby's there was only 3 setups that took fish they where green dolphin silver streak with a glow back 75 down on a rigger gold org. killer stingray on a half core and a home made pickled sunshine meat rig on a wire diver out 120 on 1 well , i will be back to saugatuck in the morning and heading on a looong range trip ,thanks for comeing along randy , it was a bast as always.
flyman013 Posted June 13, 2009 Posted June 13, 2009 Thanks for the report. Hopefully the perch will pick up for tomorrow! If I could only figure out how to eat those dang gobies! I can't seem to keep them of the line either.
