Ice_man_08 Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 x raps, spinner baits have taken a few over the last week, took 2 on a river using a reef runner
Fishwhisperer Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 Chatter Baits and Fire Tiger Hot-N-Tots are a couple of my favorites.
GLF Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 Hey Scott, are you fishing in a river or a lake? I always caught my share of pike on spinnerbaits when I was bass fishing. Find the outside edge of the weed beeds and cast along them.

j1musser Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 Spinnerbaits are classic along with stickbaits in white/blue back, clown and firetiger. Dont be afraid to go big. Rapala Fat Rap in firetiger too
Priority1 Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 Spinnerbaits and The old tried and true spoons. Red and White Dare Devil, and the Johnson Silver Minnow, will gitter done.
silver one Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 When pike fishing is slow Sucker minows or shinners work well on a big bobber sitting ontop of the weeds. I like a O size single hook rigged pacific coast live bait set up.
joelsanders Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 A big black bucktail jig with a large minnow or a mepps#4 aglia silver blade with white hair or gold blade and black hair are good baits.
CAC Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 Chartrouse mister twisters on beetle spin took 4 for me last week.
