i might have to break out the ole dr.dreadfull rip stick..the black one with white lines ...never even thought of trying that always just assumed it was more a salmon and trout catcher thanks boys

Spinnerbaits are classic along with stickbaits in white/blue back, clown and firetiger. Dont be afraid to go big. Rapala Fat Rap in firetiger too

Spinnerbaits and The old tried and true spoons. Red and White Dare Devil, and the Johnson Silver Minnow, will gitter done.

When pike fishing is slow Sucker minows or shinners work well on a big bobber sitting ontop of the weeds. I like a O size single hook rigged pacific coast live bait set up.

A big black bucktail jig with a large minnow or a mepps#4 aglia silver blade with white hair or gold blade and black hair are good baits.
