SPOONWASHER Posted June 7, 2009 Posted June 7, 2009 Sorry I am a little late but we fished South Haven friday afternoon. First we tried for perch and only got 3. We marked huge schools of fish though. Then we decided it was time for salmon. Ran out to 85 fow and set lines. After about and hour had a nice coho hit a killer dolphin spoon on the downrigger 43 down in about 90 fow. After that nothing till sunset when we had a firedrill going. Lost a small laker at the boat on a dipsy with a green glo frog. Also missed a fish on the swr with a nitro electric blueberry spoon. Landed four kings between 6 and 12 pounds. Two came on a killer dolphin spoon 43 down. The biggest was on full core with a nitro twister spoon. The last came on a half core with a nitro circus spoon on. We stayed in between 85 and 95 fow and our speed was right around 2.7. It was a beautiful afternoon and yay no more school!
