Dave Gelhar Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 Here's the deal. My brother is trying to set something up for my bachelor party. I wanted to post this on the Erie page, but I thought this would get some more hits.We are looking for a charter to catch eye's and what not out of the cleveland area. I that some charters will take a large group out and split them between two boats. Is there anyone out that that can handle up to 10-12 guys at one time??? I don't want to go on a head boat. Is this a pipe dream or can it be done? oh ya, we are looking at July 22nd.Any info would help. Thanks,Dave:Flamethrower: :Flamethrower: :Flamethrower: :Chernobyl: Oh ya, what the hell color is Lamby Cake?????It is supposed to be hot on Erie.
huntingfool43 Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 According to Michigan Law a Charter boat can not take out more than 6 people unless they are running a steel hull. This was what I was told by a charter captian a few years ago. I don't think you will find any charter boats going after walleyes in that type of boat but a perch boat should be easy to find.
Dave Gelhar Posted June 13, 2006 Author Posted June 13, 2006 That is what I figured. I know some head boats for Perch, but we want to make it a little more personable. I think we may have to party fish in different boats.Dave
GLF Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 I believe most charter captains only have a six-pack(I believe this allows them to have 6 people) license. You will probably need two boats.
Dave Gelhar Posted June 14, 2006 Author Posted June 14, 2006 Thanks,i could alway say we are going fishing and go to Put-In-Bay!!!!1
