Nailer Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Three weeks from now (may16), we will make our first trip of the season (from Port Sheldon). With busy spring sports, graduations, and general bad weather, it's hard for us to get out. Spring water temps seam to be consistent from top to bottom, so what and or where would one use for a starting location? Also what would be a spring set up. It's been 2 years now without a Skunk, and we want to keep it that way:DThanks,Ken.
Paulywood Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 The weather can change so much between now and then it is hard to say. If we get some west winds that pile warm water in close the fish could be in tight. If we have cold water all the way through the water column they could be scattered and it might be worth the ride to Grand Haven. Or you could run offshore and see what's out there. I think we are going to prefish that friday so maybe you will have a report to help you out:D
