trollperchsand? Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 I'm still working on the right name... It's a 2001 Boston Whaler 280 Conquest Shes equipped w/ Raymarine Electronincs (radar, chart, fishfinder, autopilot) 3-Walker downriggers (one is the Strike Vision) Vector Rod holders 2-225 hp Merc outboards Air/Heat/Generator/Head etc. I just bought her back in March, and it was pretty well ready to go other than the rodholders and tackle.
j1musser Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Thats a heck of a rig.Very nice. I am very jealous as well. Sweet boat. She looks like a fishing machine:D
GLF Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Nice looking rig Chris. Have you put any fish in it yet?
trollperchsand? Posted April 26, 2009 Author Posted April 26, 2009 Nice looking rig Chris. Have you put any fish in it yet?I went out last Saturday evening got lines in around 6pm and it was pretty slow. I did catch one Lake Trout, put it in the box just to get the "skunk smell" out and promptly sent it back to the lake. I'll see you South Haven guys in the morning...
Rayman96 Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 That is one sweet ride and now I'm jealous and have footitis. Unfortunately the budget won't allow it!:( Nice rig and thanks for sharing!
Paulywood Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Beautiful ride, thanks for sharing. Now we're all jealous. Good luck this year.

Yooperdad Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 Wow! I have an old Whaler 22 Revenge that I really enjoy, but can't imagine what a sweet machine you have there. Good luck with her.Mike
Just Hook'n Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 Totally awesome. I bet those 225 can get to the "hot spot" fast.
trollperchsand? Posted May 21, 2009 Author Posted May 21, 2009 Thanks for all the nice comments! So far so good, knock on wood/"fiberglass". I'll be out Sunday and Monday wife willing, I tried getting out last Sunday It was going to be me and four of my buddies, they all droped like flies when they saw the forcast. It seems this is the most difficult part of fishing so far, everyone "wants" to go until it is time to actually go!
