1mainiac Posted April 20, 2009 Posted April 20, 2009 just got in from a day of drifting on the Muskegon river we put in below Croton and got out in Newaygo. Saw very few fish on gravel lost several boated 5 fish all out of season 1 nice walleye 3 rainbows on the small side and a nice brown around 5 or 6 lbs hen. Action was fairly solid at the dam but slow everywhere below only saw a few Steelhead boated in the stretch we fished and could not coax any of the ones we found to play nice. A little chilly and damp but a darn nice day on the water none the less.
DIRTY DOG Posted April 20, 2009 Posted April 20, 2009 sounds like a nice day on the river, and it beats sitting in the house watching the rain
GLF Posted April 20, 2009 Posted April 20, 2009 Nice job Jim. I debating on fishing again yesterday, but decided against fishing in the rain all day.
