JWheeler Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 Made it out with my friend Chad yesterday. Probably set the 1st line around 8am right at the piers and started heading south. Worked the skinny water, about 12-20fow for the 1st hour. Moved out to 50fow and started pecking away. Not one fish on a spoon yesterday. Here's what worked:2 color lead core with double jointed rapala (looks like a perch with an orange belly).Dipsy, with white spinnie & a white fly, took the most fish of the day.Deep diving Firetiger thunderstick jr. 50' behind the boards. Switched the riggers up all day. Missed a nice rip on a small blue J Plug.Finished the day 10/13 all ho's, number 10 went back, we thought it was a perch but just a very small ho. Played around with the new video camera yesterday, little difficult with only 2 of us to get the action. Will edit a little clip and share with ya's.
jay d Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 wtg i have been thinking of mouting a camera on my arch to catch some of the action, something to watch on a rainy windt day
JWheeler Posted April 19, 2009 Author Posted April 19, 2009 Yes it was not going to happen yesterday. Navigate the boat, net the fish and shoot video. We needed that 3rd guy. We have a lot of summer left for video. I am going to check into a mount for my hardtop.
GLF Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 Nice job Jason! I have a tripod I use, but it is kind of in the way. I am going to build a clamp on bracket for the top to get it up and out of the way.
Priority1 Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 Good Job Jason. I hope you can get over there and hammer them again.
