Fished for a couple hours yesterday with no luck at all. Was shocked to look up and see a net flag. There are 2 nets about 3 miles south of Holland. 1st flag is in 30fow and runs straight out to 2nd flag in 50fow. Second net starts in 60fow and I'm guessing runs out to 80/90fow, but I didn't go out there to see. We saw no side marker flags. The north lat # for both nets is 43.750.

I thought nets were not allowed this far south, and I though they could be no shallower than 60fow. I like to know whose they are and where they are tending them from.

Everybody better keep an eye out because there could easily be more. It doesn't make sense to come this far for only 2 nets. If your not fimilar with nets, what you want to watch for is 6' poles with penant flags. Nets usually run east and west between the 2 ploes and are 30' off the bottom down to the bottom. There are suppose to be side markers about 2 foot tall to mark the width
