SC Fisherman 22 Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 Went fishing today and went 3 for 4. Two coho and one brown. Trolled from the piers to the chalets. Picking up a coho on a small orange flasher with orange peanut fly, off the rigger. Also one coho on a brown and yellow jointed repella..The Brown that we (the wife and I ) kept hit a thin fish, both of these were off of boards all fish were caught before 11am in 15 ft of water. After that we burned the fuel but only caught a small brown and threw him back. Was the first trip to St. Joe and also the first trip of the season. So the skunk is gone and we are happy. Hank..
GLF Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 Nice job of catching Hank! Is the water starting to clear up?
Priority1 Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 Good Job Hank. It's nice to get that shakedown cruise in.
SC Fisherman 22 Posted April 10, 2009 Author Posted April 10, 2009 Yes,with the mud line is still around the peirs with some floating lumber. Watch the water when you are under way.. Also talked too a DNR officer after coming off the lake and he said that the coho are plentiful at Bridgman.
