Fishing Report Posted June 8, 2006 Posted June 8, 2006 Walleye fishing has been terrific with limit catches reported about 3 miles straight off the mouth of the Au Gres River using crawler harnesses in 25 to 32 feet of water. The fish are not huge, but there are a lot of them.
Priority1 Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 I fished on the Eye Terminator Sunday out of AuGres, with Kuz. We picked up a two man limit of eaters. All in all we boated more than 20 fish. Bouncers in 40FOW about 6 ft off the bottom. Chartruse and Fire Tiger blades on the harnesses. A VG morning to be on the water.
Priority1 Posted June 14, 2006 Posted June 14, 2006 Fished AuGres again this morning, Two man limit. We were on my boat today two rods with bouncers off the back, and one rod with in line weights off each side. purple harness and chartruse harnesses did the trick. 40 FOW about 1.5 MPH on GPS. Shoulda been there Mike. LOL:)
