GTRIEM Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 Hello, I joined last year and i guess i overlooked the welcome center. So Hi everyone. I fish with my younger brother and my father, out of dads 23 Pursuit. We upgraded a few years ago from the 18 Starcraft. Started fishing Lk MI in the mid 80's but lack of success had us heading to erie for walleye.Lots of fun but not a trip you can do after work or just on a saturday morn. So i started lurking around here and found that the info i was able to get and apply on the water put fish on the the lines, making it more than an expensive boatride;) Thanks to all of you who freely share your knowledge and advice. See you on the lake, mostly out of St.Joe -but the trailer gets the boat where the fish are. GTR
Priority1 Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 George, A very warm welcome to you. I'm glad you found some informative posts and took the time to introduce yourself. I fish mostly out of AuGres MI on the Saginaw Bay. I also make a few trips a year to Lake Michigan. The Trade a Trips has worked well for me. I have a 22 Starcraft Islander Hardtop, that is somewhat like me. It's old slow and dependable.
GTRIEM Posted March 29, 2009 Author Posted March 29, 2009 Thanks for the welcome. I'm on the IN/MI line, about an hour from St.Joe and its snowing! So i'm trying to see how to attach photos...bear with me if i screw this up. Brother and Dad -me on the camera- last april. GTR
