if anyone is like me .... during the winter you always think about the new toy you want to get for the boat next year...what have you guys bought for the boat this year...i ended up with the new fish finder...but mainly new tackle purchases

I just got back from the tackle store. I picked up 3 new 20 series LC reels, a new rod, another in-line planer board.

I picked up a depth raider just last week, cant wait to get the boat out of storage!!

Swivel downrigger mounts for the Bert's track

re lined several reels

Re tied a bunch of flies

found a bag of lures flashers and flies I lost 2 years ago

1 new Steelhead rod and reel

Thats about it other than the usual several spools of Gamma leader material some bead chain hooks and other needfull things.

My Dog House is the Boat..... he he he That's why she goes to the dog house with me, and we have a lot of fun in that Dog house......but now sean he's single, that's why his dog house is so "Nasty"....not to mention cold up thrrr.... in da UP

Too tired to list it at this point.....this season is going to end up costing me 8 grand before i even get in the water....4 for me....4 for her!!! I guess that is the price i a have to pay to stay out of the dog house! The screaming drags are worth every penny in my opinion! Nothing like it:grin:

My boat gets delivered Tuesday March 31st

I added up all receipts for last season and it came to about 160 per fish with close to a 10lb per fish average makes it 16 a lb for whole fish if I netted a 4lb per fish average in filets we are talking 40 bucks a lb for filets. Geez I could have had Lobster and steak nearly every day for less money. But the sound of a screaming drag is priceless.
