took a swim today

Ahhh Yessss, the dreaded Polar Bear plunge, I remember it well. Those who do survive them seem to become the best ambassadors and teachers for the others who have yet to take one. When I think of all the mistakes and chances I took when younger, I see the true value in the "Older and Wiser" statement.

I went through in the middel of the night one time. I think it was a pocket of bad ice over good ice. I was able to pull myself right up. It was so cold I had a shell of ice from my waist down to my toes. Definately something I'll always remmber.

I've been wet to the ears a couple of times, It's not fun.. The first thing you do after getting out is get your keys out of your pocket before your pants freeze.
