? about the dam in hamilton

has anyone on here heard anything about the dnr wanting to take out the dam on the rabbit R. in hamilton. dont sound like a good idea to me if its true

Yes it's true. The DNR would get a federal grant for $400,000 to take it out or Hamilton would have to come up with $250,000 to fix it. There was an open meeting last week. I hadn't heard anything about what came out of that.

Most of what I've heard is overwhelmingly supportive for its removal.

I have to believe its going to be removed. Maybe even as soon as this summer.
